L-Erythrulose is typically used in self-tanning formulas in conjunction with Dihydroxyacetone(DHA) to improve color, reduce streaking, and reduce skin dryness, thus enhancing and extending the user’s tan. L-Erythrulose induces a Maillard-like reaction with amino groups in the upper layers of the epidermis which produces a temporary browning effect with an appearance similar to a natural sun tan.

● Self-tanning agent
● Skin moisturizing
● Antioxidant
Advantages
