  1. resveratrol
    Source:A polyphenol (3,4',5-trihydroxystilbene) found in grapes, berries, peanuts, and medicinal herbs like Veratrum and Polygonum cuspidatum. Extracted from grape skins or synthesized.
    Properties: Soluble in ethanol, methanol, chloroform, and acetone; low water solubility (0.03 g/L).
    Cosmetic Applications:Delivers multi-functional benefits in creams, lotions, and serums: moisturizing, firming, brightening (at 0.02%), anti-wrinkle, and anti-aging effects. Nano-liposome encapsulation significantly enhances skin penetration and efficacy.At 1.5%, exhibits UV-protective properties.
    Maximum historical use level: 5% in leave-on products.
    Key Considerations:Low stability; prone to oxidation and photosensitivity.Exists as cis/trans isomers; trans-form is more stable.Degrades in alkaline conditions (pH >10), turning red.
  1. Puerarin
    Source:Primary bioactive flavonoid (≈2.3%) in Pueraria lobata(kudzu) root.
    Properties: White needle crystals (methanol-acetic acid); sparingly soluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol/ethyl acetate; stable in alkaline solutions.
    Cosmetic Applications:Potent antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibitor (brightening at 0.1%–0.2%).Absorbs UVA/UVB, preventing sun-induced hyperpigmentation. Stimulates hair growth at 0.5% (205.3% estrogen promotion rate).
    Note: Currently listed as "Pueraria Lobata Root Extract" in cosmetic ingredient directories.

     3、Carnosic Acid

        Source:Derived from sage (Salvia officinalis) and rosemary.
        Properties:Colorless crystals (melting point: 190°C). Soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform; low water solubility. Molecular weight: 332.4.
       Cosmetic Applications:Powerful tyrosinase inhibitor (71% inhibition at 1μmol/L) for brightening.Superior antioxidant: scavenges free radicals  and quenches singlet oxygen better than SOD.Combats photoaging, boosts cell metabolism (e.g., stimulates NGF), and reduces skin sensitivity. Maximum historical use level: 0.02% in leave-on products.

     4、Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)

      Source:Naturally occurs in meat, liver, peanuts, rice bran, and yeast;synthetically produced.
     Properties: White crystalline powder (melting point: 129–131°C). Soluble in water (1g/mL), ethanol (1g/1.5mL), and glycerol (1g/10mL).          Molecular weight: 122.2.
    Cosmetic Applications:Key component of coenzymes NAD/NADP; supports lipid metabolism and cellular respiration.Multi-functional:  Moisturizes   (0.1%), significantly brightens skin (1%–3%), and promotes hair growth.
